Short
for "Emotional Freedom Technique," this is a revolutionary
new healing therapy, that is a combination of physical,
and emotional, psychotheraputic techniques. This very
simple technique is helping people reduce and eliminate,
negative and painful emotions.
Relief is often immediate and the effects are often
permanent. The process of EFT, involves tapping on different
energy points, such as those used in acupuncture. This
process frees blocked energy, and eliminates negative
emotions. Results are usually attained in a few minutes,
and usually need only 1 to 3 sessions for complete relief.
Our bodies have a profound electrical nature. Thoughts
create electrical currents, which result in an emotional
response to the thought. If there is a disturbance or
blockage in the energy system, there will be an abnormal
or exaggerated emotional response. By removing the blockage
or disturbance, the energy system returns to a proper
balance, and the uncomfortable emotional response is
alleviated. The memory of the event still remains, however
the emotional response to the memory is gone. EFT corrects
these energy disruptions to balance the energy circuitry.
Once the process is shown to you, you will be able to
treat yourself whenever necessary. There is no need
to relive painful memories, in order to use this technique.

What Professional Are Saying About EFT
"...
For the previous
three weeks I have been employing EFT with four dissociative
and two severe PTSD clients. In ALL cases there have been
very positive results and unprecedented progress. I really
do not care how one wishes to explain these results. I
have seen these clients form 1.5 to 6 years and have never
in my experience with them - employing clinical hypnosis,
insight-oriented or cognitive-behavioral approaches -
had these kind of results reported. Not only are these
clients feeling free of distress associated with certain
of the affects/beliefs processed with EFT, they are reporting
little hesitance in exploring aspects associated with
them. It is like the apprehensiveness to "look at" old
stuff is just not there for the particular issue." Dan
Dunlap, Ph.D.
"...I found EFT so exceptionally clear and practical that
I was able to immediately and effectively use it with
myself and a variety of patients. It not only brings remarkable
and rapid relief for my patients in the office, it is
a tool the patient can quickly grasp and apply on their
own." John Fishbein, Ph.D.
"...I'm having great success and I'm trying EFT all the
time on every situation possible. I feel that as a psychologist
for over 20 years, I am, for the first time, doing what
I came into this field to do; to be involved in healing
and to know that healing indeed occurred." David T. London,
